Activities

At Faith Baptist Church, we believe life together is an important part of following Jesus. Beyond Sunday mornings, we gather regularly to grow in God’s Word, encourage one another, and build relationships that reflect the love of Christ.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study
Our Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer time offers a midweek opportunity to slow down and refocus on Christ. Together, we open God’s Word, ask questions, and pray for one another as we seek to grow in faith and understanding. Pastor Nathan leads both worship and study, guiding the group through Scripture in a clear and approachable way. He is currently teaching a unit on angelology, helping participants better understand what the Bible teaches about angels, God’s design and order, and how these truths point us back to the greatness and authority of Christ. This study encourages careful biblical thinking while keeping Christ at the center of every discussion.
This midweek gathering is welcoming, relaxed, and centered on Scripture. Whether you are eager to study deeply, seeking encouragement through prayer, or simply looking for a quiet place to grow in faith, you are invited to join us.

Pickleball
Pickleball is one of the ways we enjoy fellowship through shared activity. Whether you’re experienced or new to the game, this is a relaxed and friendly environment where people of all ages can connect, stay active, and build relationships that encourage Christ-centered conversation. This ministry is especially meaningful because it brings together multiple generations—children, teens, adults, and seniors—creating opportunities for friendships and encouragement across age groups. Whether you’re experienced or brand new to the game, the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and welcoming.
Pickleball is one of our newer ministries and helps foster an environment of fun, hospitality, and genuine connection. While the game brings people together, the deeper purpose is fellowship—building relationships that open the door for Christ-centered conversation, encouragement, and community.

Women’s Book Club
Our Women’s Book Club meets twice a month and offers a welcoming space for women to gather, build friendships, and grow deeper in their walk with the Lord. Each term, we read and discuss a Christian book together, taking time to reflect on Scripture, share insights, and encourage one another. This season, we are reading Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver—a study that invites women to slow down, listen to Jesus, and place devotion to Christ at the center of everyday life. Whether you’re an avid reader or simply looking for meaningful connection, this group provides a sweet opportunity to bond with other women while growing in faith.

Secret Sisters
Secret Sisters is a special ministry that encourages women to care for and pray for one another throughout the year. Participants are paired anonymously and commit to praying regularly for their assigned “sister,” offering encouragement through notes, cards, or small acts of kindness. This ministry is a meaningful way to foster connection, deepen prayer, and reflect Christ’s love in thoughtful, personal ways. Secret Sisters provides a quiet but powerful opportunity for women to grow in compassion, generosity, and unity within the church.

Indoor Walking at the Family Ministry Center
Our Family Ministry Center is open twice a week for indoor walking, providing a safe and comfortable space to stay active—especially during colder months. These times offer opportunities for conversation, encouragement, and connection while caring for physical well-being and fellowship.

Homeschool Community
Faith Baptist Church is glad to support homeschooling families and to make our facilities available for a homeschool group during the week. Many within our church value intentional, Christ-centered education and are grateful to come alongside families as they teach and disciple their children. We strive to be a welcoming and supportive place for homeschool families.

Church Family Meals & Gatherings
Throughout the year, we enjoy special opportunities to gather as a church family for shared meals and seasonal events. These times are intentionally simple and relaxed, creating space for hospitality, meaningful conversation, and fellowship. Guests are always welcome, and we see these gatherings as another way to reflect Christ’s love and unity.

All of our activities are designed to encourage growth, connection, and faith in Jesus Christ. Whether through studying God’s Word, shared activity, or fellowship around a table, our desire is that everything we do points us to Him
